The heartbeat behind YWAM is to KNOW GOD and MAKE GOD KNOWN. How do we do that? The Discipleship Training School (DTS)! It’s a 5 month program where the first 12 weeks is lecture phase: It’s YOU getting to know God as we cover topics like hearing God’s voice, His character and nature, your identity and calling, the Father Heart of the God, and much more. The second phase is outreach – making God known – where YOU travel overseas to put it all into practice!
This DTS will change your life for good! So what are you waiting for?? Apply now!
With a population of just over 4 million, New Zealand has had a surprisingly significant impact on the nations. From inventing bungee jumping, to being the set for Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, to having once been the number one missionary sending nation in the world, New Zealand is a land of innovation and ingenuity. Don’t take our word for it though, come experience Aotearoa (Land of the Long White Cloud, the Maori name for New Zealand) for yourself! Continue your New Zealand experience and plan a visit to the majestic South Island after your DTS is finished!
Tauranga and Surroundings

A few hours drive will also bring you to the beautiful Cathedral Cove (a set for the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian film) and the rugged Tongariro National Park, a volcanic zone where Mordor was filmed in the Lord of the Rings movies.
