Worship, intercession, intimacy, transformation, discovery, hearing the voice of God, relationships, serving others, adventure, fun, and learning new skills. If you are between the ages of 18 and 35 and are fully committed to following Jesus into whatever sphere of society He might call you into – either back in your home town, or in another nation of the world, we’d love to have you join us for our DTS program in our newly built ministry centre at Gideon’s Heights in Tauranga, New Zealand!   We are serious about going deeper with God, serious about His mission, and serious about enjoying the amazing surroundings He has blessed us with!!  You can enjoy swimming in our natural waterfall and refreshing river, or pray, worship and intercede for the nations on our 24 acre prayer walk. Enjoy our city with its white sand beaches, plenty of sun and beauty. Be prepared for discipleship in your relationship with God that will transform your heart along with others as you prepare to reach the nations with God’s heart and healing.

The Training Centre

Completed in 2010, the YWAM Tauranga Ministry Centre was the fulfillment of a 20 year vision given by God to the Founders of Marine Reach, David and Linda Cowie. The vision was to have a place where young people could gather from all over the world to be trained in different aspects of international mission. The Centre provides an environment where new initiatives and ministries can be pioneered in order to touch the nations with the love of Jesus. Located just outside the City of Tauranga, situated above Gideon’s Valley Prayer Walk, the Centre accommodates up to 30 people, and was designed to encourage community and provide a family atmosphere for those far from home.
