OVERVIEW
The Devoted Discipleship Training School is a school for students with a desire to be completely devoted to Jesus through prayer and worship. Our new training centre is located above a beautiful valley with prayer trails, river and waterfall just outside Tauranga in New Zealand. The school is for young men and women who are serious about intimacy with Jesus.
COURSE OUTLINE
You will spend three months in the classroom of which worship and intercession is an integral part. The following two months will be spent on outreach, usually in a developing nation. If you have questions, please email us via the contact page.

I was born in Colombia, South America to missionary parents. While on a YWAM outreach, I met David in Kenya, East Africa. After graduating from university, we married and began working full-time with YWAM, pioneering bases around the world. We came to N.Z. in 1990 to pioneer the work of Marine Reach. A year later, we also began pioneering the work of Gideon’s Fields which is now Gideon’s Heights and Gideon’s Valley.
My passion is to see young people trained, released and equipped to serve God with a whole heart.

Hi, I'm Jared. I grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand and trained there as a mechanic. After 5 years doing that I followed God to Tauranga where I did a DTS with Marine Reach in January 2010. I've spent the last 18 months helping with Groundskeeping and Maintenance here at Gideon's Heights and Valley, which has been a real blast. We were talking about what super power we would choose for ourselves if we could have one the other day, and I chose super human strength. I'm pretty excited to be joining staff for the Devoted DTS this year, and I'm looking forward to what God is going to do in this season.

Kia-ora! My name is Nicholas, but some call me Clark (i.e. Patty). I LOVE JESUS. If I were an animal I'd be a dolphin. Why? Because they surf and eat sushi every day. If I had one super power it would be the ability to communicate with nature and animals, which would be EPIC! Hanging out with and creating music with friends is one of my favorite things to do. Stoked to spend these next five months with ya'll and become family!

I am originally from South Carolina but have lived most of my time as a YWAMer in New Zealand and Hawaii. For the past 4 years I have been at the University of the Nations, YWAM Kona (Hawaii) serving in a ministry called Na Kupono - Becoming Whole Ministries. I am in love with the God who intervened in my life over 9 years ago & I'm passionate about seeing people walk in wholeness; body, soul and spirit. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10) and I am stoked to be back in New Zealand serving you guys in one of the most exciting seasons of your life.
