OVERVIEW
This school is about you and God. Every part of it from start to finish will be an opportunity to go further, go deeper, and go out. Go further in your knowledge of him through the 12 weeks of incredible lectures where the focus is on the heart and not the head. You’ll have the opportunity of going deeper in God personally through designated time in worship, individual discipleship from your staff, and going deeper in the word of God. During the lecture phase, there will also be optional electives to enhance your gifts and calling. Don’t underestimate how far you can “go” with God in 5 months!
OUTREACH
Combine all of the above and it’s time to go out. It’s hands on, deliberate evangelism, and we’ll be trusting God’s power to move through us as a school not only in the words we share, but far beyond that as we reach those who don’t yet know him.

I come from Perth, Western Australia and at age 17 in the summer of 1997 I witnessed a young girl on her DTS give her testimony publicly. I’d never seen this before; it was powerful. The YWAM team spoke to me afterwards, and I was convinced that I should do a DTS.
Now it was my turn! And that 5 months helped shape me into who I am today. Afterwards I joined YWAM as full time staff, and since then, most of that time has been spent working with the DTS.
I have lead many schools and have been to many nations on outreach, but the highlight for me is discipling students, and watching them develop and mature in their walk with God.
