OVERVIEW
Many of our students are planning a career in medicine and are looking for some initial training in this area. After the regular DTS classroom time in the morning a special “stream” is run twice a week in the afternoon teaching a World Health Organisation (WHO) course in Emergency Triage Assessment and Treatment. We feel this is an excellent course providing practical training to help meet the needs of those in developing nations. A WHO certificate will be issued for this course.
